Lowenstein & Weatherwax LLP begins 2022 with seven major IPR wins. Most recently, L&W obtained two complete trial wins for its long time client Sound View Innovations, LLC in IPR2021-01041 and -01276 with Parham Hendifar working with Nathan Lowenstein and Kenneth Weatherwax in the two matters respectively. L&W also obtained a complete trial win on behalf of The Regents of the University of Michigan, with former L&W partner Bridget Smith taking the lead. Ms. Smith also obtained four noninstitutions (IPR2021-01144, -01145, -01227, -01228) on behalf of our client Express Mobile Inc., working alongside our co-counsel at McKool Smith, P.C. and Steptoe & Johnson LLP. These seven wins follow two more non-institutions on behalf of L&W client Sable Networks (IPR2021-01067, -01005) obtained in December 2021, with L&W’s Kenneth Weatherwax and Colette Woo working in conjunction with our co-counsel at Berger & Hipskind LLP.
