Lowenstein & Weatherwax founding partner, Nate Lowenstein, was recognized by the Daily Journal for a second consecutive year as being a Top IP Lawyer. The list honors the 75 California lawyers who had the biggest impact in the intellectual property field in 2020. Lowenstein (41) was amongst the very youngest attorneys selected. Lowenstein & Weatherwax, with only thirteen lawyers, was one of only a few small boutiques to have an honoree.

Lowenstein was recognized for his inter partes review and his appellate practice, including a period from November 4-19 in which he won a Federal Circuit appeal and four IPR trials, all within a month-and-a-half of his son being born on October 2.

The Daily Journal’s profile also noted that Lowenstein & Weatherwax’s cases are almost always against many of the largest companies in the world who, in turn, are represented by many of the largest, most well-known law firms in the country.

“It’s great to be so honored, but, we win as a team and my success is a direct consequence of the brilliant work performed by my colleagues,” said Lowenstein
