L&W Wins Landmark 9th Circuit Personal Jurisdiction Case For Ayla

Lowenstein & Weatherwax LLP secured a significant 9th Circuit win on behalf of its client Ayla, LLC, reversing the district court’s dismissal of Ayla’s complaint for want of jurisdiction over the foreign defendant.  Following the district court’s dismissal, L&W took over the case on appeal and obtained the reversal.  The 9th Circuit’s published decision is the first to find nationwide personal jurisdiction under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 4(k)(2).
