September 19, 2024 (Santa Monica, CA) – Lowenstein & Weatherwax LLP and its partners Nathan Lowenstein, Kenneth Weatherwax, and Parham Hendifar again dominated the IPR rankings in Patexia’s PTAB 2024 Intelligence Report released September 19, 2024 and covering the period July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2024. The report identified:
- Lowenstein & Weatherwax as being the fifth most active and seventh best performing law firm (out of 719 law firms) representing patent owners.
- L&W partners Nathan Lowenstein, Kenneth Weatherwax, and Parham Hendifar were each identified within the top 10 most active attorneys representing patent owners in IPRs (out of 3,813 attorneys).
- Nathan Lowenstein was identified as the second best performing attorney representing patent owners in IPRs in the country, with Kenneth Weatherwax and Parham Hendifar also both ranking in the top 20 out of 3,813 attorneys.
The report provides an empirical study directed towards providing “an objective and data-driven assessment of the activity and performance of all parties involved in PTAB proceedings,” and analyzes 6,510 IPR matters, 911 law firms, and 5,720 attorneys who participated in the IPR proceedings for the five year period covered by the report.
