Bridget Smith Quoted On Underrepresentation By Women Attorneys

Bridget Smith, partner at Lowenstein & Weatherwax LLP, was quoted in a December 23, 2019 article by Ian Lopez of Bloomberg Law regarding the underrepresentation of women attorneys practicing before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).  Among other things, the article quoted Ms. Smith’s observations that, while women attorneys make up a small percentage of attorneys practicing before the Board, the Patent Office itself has been making strong efforts to hire diversely.  The article may be accessed at this link.
