Robert received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2022 and his B.A. in Legal Studies from University of California, Santa Cruz. Prior to law school he gained familiarity with all aspects of a typical case as a paralegal, and during law school he interned for California Appellate Court Judge Justice Kathleen Banke and provided legal assistance to start-up companies based in San Francisco. While in law school he graduated Summa Cum Laude, participated in student government, received 10 CALI awards and 2 Witkin awards for academic excellence, was made a member of both the Thurston Society and Hastings Honor Society and Order of the Coif, and was a Senior Editor on the Hastings Environmental Law Journal. In addition, a paper he authored has been published in the 2022 Spring edition of the Hastings Environmental Law Journal.
