Flavio Rose is of counsel to Lowenstein & Weatherwax LLP, and has extensive experience. Mr. Rose was formerly a partner at Mintz Levin and also practiced at Irell & Manella. He has over 20 years of experience in patent analysis, invalidity review, and litigation in a wide variety of technologies. Mr. Rose’s litigation experience includes pre-trial and post-trial procedures in courts throughout the country and work on numerous appellate matters.
Prior to law school, Mr. Rose worked in industry, focusing on computer-aided design software, computer graphics, networking, and integrated circuit design. Mr. Rose earned his J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1994, where he was a notes and comments editor of the California Law Review. He received an undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of Santiago, Chile, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from MIT in 1982. Mr. Rose was a judicial law clerk to Judge Irma E. Gonzalez of the Southern District of California in San Diego.
