In a precedential decision issued November 15, 2022 of VLSI’s appeal, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit reversed-in-part and remanded the case to the Patent Trial & Appeal Board. VLSI was represented by L&W’s team led by Nathan Lowenstein, Kenneth Weatherwax, and Colette Woo.
L&W secures non-institution in IPR challenging Aortic Innovations patent. The Board denied institution of Edwards Lifesciences petition challenging Aortic Innovations’ 11,129,735 patent in IPR2022-00549. L&W’s team included Nathan Lowenstein and Edward Hsieh.
