Lowenstein & Weatherwax LLP secured a fifth consecutive complete trial win on behalf of its client DivX. Claims 1, 5, 8, 9, 13-15, 18, and 21-23 of DivX’s U.S. patent 8,472,792 were challenged by petitioners Netflix and Hulu. After a full trial, the Board upheld the claims’ patentability.
