L&W LLP attorneys have extraordinary experience in the area of election law. Professor Daniel Lowenstein of the UCLA Law School was the principal author of California’s landmark Political Reform Act, the first Chairman of the Fair Political Practices Commission, and is among the leading and most respected scholars in the field of election law. Professor Lowenstein is also the co-author of the first casebook on Election Law since 1877. The Election Law group also includes Prof. Lowenstein’s son, founding L&W LLP partner Nathan Lowenstein, has extensive litigation and counseling experience throughout his legal career in redistricting and campaign finance law.
